Although you can't see it from this picture, the Victoria Art Gallery is very close to where the Pulteney Bridge crosses the River Avon. Also very close to the Guildhall and Bath Abbey, the gallery is free to enter and usually has quite a varied collection of exhibitions to view. Because the art gallery and Bath Guildhall market are very close to each other, many visitors visit one then the other.
As you can see, in general this area of Bath is home to plenty of sights within close vicinity of each other; Saint Michaels Church is also not far away and there are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as the Podium Shopping Centre.
