This shot has been taken at the point where Hot Bath Street and Saint MichaelŐs Place come together near the main entrance of Thermae Bath Spa on Bath Street. Just away from the main shopping areas, this is perhaps a more authentic part of the city with its cobbled streets and traditional Georgian architecture. The Thermae Bath Spa entrance makes use of the naturally warm mineral waters rising in the city, in just the same way as the nearby much older Roman Baths.
Also nearby you will find other historical streets such as Helting Court and Bilbury Lane which are fantastic areas to explore during your time in Bath. Whether you are in the city for the culture or the shopping, you cannot help but appreciate the grand nature of the buildings on view.
