The Corridor is one of the loveliest places to shop you could possibly imagine. It isnŐt many shopping arcades that have their own minstrelsŐ gallery, for example! It was built nearly two hundred years ago and there was a huge crowd for its opening ceremony and it is still an iconic location even today. For the cinema historian, the great pioneer of the moving image, William Friese Greene had a photography studio here.
It is a pricey place to have a shop and so you will only find the very best outlets here, with clothing and jewellery shops making up most of the retail, but even if you keep your purse or wallet strictly tucked away, The Corridor is certainly somewhere you must visit when you are in Bath.
