Guide and Virtual Tour of Bath: The Circus.
Panorama | Review | Map
Here is another shot of The Circus, this time taken from the attractive park in the centre of the area. If ever there was an ideal spot to take a panoramic photo, this is surely it as it is hard to imagine being completely surrounded by more attractive buildings. The buildings on this street are grade one listed and date back to 1768. This type of architecture is actually described as Palladian after the famous Italian architect Andrea Palladio and only became briefly popular in the UK.
This is nevertheless one of the finest examples you will ever see and adorns many a local postcard sent from Bath. Just 10 minutes from the city centre, The Circus is a great destination for when you would like a break from shopping.
