Along with the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey is one of the most famous tourist attractions and architectural highlights in the city. Considering just how many wonderful buildings there are to see during a trip to Bath, to be regarded in such high esteem takes some doing and Bath Abbey really is a sight to behold.
The Abbey is located right in the heart of the city and just across the road from the Roman Baths. It will certainly take some doing to not notice it as you make your way into the city and it is certainly worth exploring both inside and out. Tours are available regularly throughout the day or you can simply wander in yourself as this is still a working religious site.
