Guide and Virtual Tour of Bath: Queens Square and Gay Street.
Panorama | Review | Map
In a city full of beautiful architecture and attractive Georgian buildings, QueenÕs Square is as pretty as a picture and found right in the centre of Bath. Lots of continental style food markets are held here every year but even if there is nothing particular on, spending an afternoon lounging around on the grass is a great idea.
The Square is surrounded by the impressive and rather posh looking stone buildings for which Bath is well known, and walking along the tree-lined streets makes you feel rather well-to-do. Queen Square is just down the road from the River Avon and nothing in the city centre is much more than five minutesÕ walk away from here.
There are also lots of nice little restaurants and bars around here to enjoy and a short stroll away is The Circus, one of the most famous sites of Bath.
