Queen Square is often home to various cultural markets throughout the year, providing residents with a chance to buy produce of French and Italian styles. There are also even occasional boules competitions, which give a good indication of the rather well-to-do history and residents of this Square.
Queen Square is also a midpoint between the real city centre of Bath with its excellent shopping and well-known attractions, and architectural highlights such as The Circus and the Royal Crescent. There are also a number of excellent bistros and restaurants in the area as well as hotels for all budgets.
