Queen Square is one of the most famous squares in Bath and is located on the northern edge of the city centre. The Square is a series of Georgian townhouses surrounding a rather attractive piece of parkland. In the middle of the park is an obelisk dedicated to the 18th century dandy Beau Nash, who played such a prominent role in society during those times.
Also making its home on Queen Square is Bath Academy; an educational establishment for both local and international students. Just a minute or two away is the Jane Austen Centre, and travelling in the other direction you will be walking into the heart of the city centre and the Theatre Royal will be one of the first notable attractions you will spot.
