Pierrepont Place is a little side alley just off Pierrepont Street which is one of the main roads in Bath. This shot really gives you a good feel for these smaller lanes and alleyways of the city, complete with street level windows and cobbled roads. It's a lot of fun to wander around the smaller lanes and see parts of the city many visitors are not always aware of.
There are often little eateries, bars and independent shops down these lanes, as well as many apartments and residential buildings. Passing back through the pillars you can see in the picture; you will be back on Pierrepont Street which runs along the eastern side of the city centre towards Orange Grove, Grand Parade and the famous Pulteney Bridge.
