Lansdown Road is a very interesting residential street just a few minutes away from The Circus in the north of the city. Unusual for a very flat city, Lansdown Road is on quite a slope and has a series of staggered Georgian townhouses along its length. It is also one of the longest roads in the city with only a small part of it within what you would call the city centre. The road then continues out of the city for a number of miles until it reaches the Lansdown Golf Course.
In the picture above, looking down the street to the right-hand side you can just about spot the very attractive St Stephen's Church. Another of the rather uncommon Gothic style buildings of the city, this particular church has some beautiful stained-glass windows to enjoy.
