Some stores are so amazing that they are worth a look just for the building and JollyÕs is certainly one of these. The store has been going for nearly two hundred years and has the most amazing frontage, with the peacocks that are the emblem of the store. Bath is well known for its shops of all kinds, but a visit to JollyÕs is a must whether you are in the city for the shopping or not.
Bath is a fascinating town for rummaging around in and part of the fun is turning a corner and finding something totally unexpected and this is certainly the case when you wander the rabbit warren of streets of which Old King Street forms a part. There are so many different styles of architecture in this part of Bath, but somehow they all seem to live quite happily together.
