You surely won't find many branches of Debenhams housed in such impressive architecture is this. Just one of the many well-known shops to be found in the Southgate Shopping Centre, this branch is just minutes away from both the Bath Spa Railway Station and the main bus station of the city. In fact, looking away from pedestrianised shopping street you can see in the photo, you can just about see the corner of the train station in the picture, giving an idea of just how close it is.
This shot is also gives a really good idea of how the very attractive and grand Georgian architecture of the city has been maintained and transformed into excellent retail outlets. Bath is a very unique city in this sense and goes a long way to explaining why it is such a popular city also.
