The Bath Pump Room is one of the cultural and historical highlights of the city. Admission to the Pump Room is free and once inside you can drink from the natural mineral water flowing underneath the city. There are apparently 43 different minerals in the water, and this is the same water used to heat the nearby Roman Baths. The Bath Pump Room is also home to a restaurant and the Pump Room Trio; three musicians playing violin, cello and piano to entertain the guests every day.
Of course, the actual Roman Baths are right next door to the Pump Room and can be entered by paying a separate admission price. Nevertheless, the Pump Room is the natural partner to the Baths and makes for an interesting and unique attraction.
