Bath Abbey is such a wonderful destination it is certainly worth viewing from every possible direction. This shot not only gives a great example of the grand nature of the Abbey itself, but also of the fantastic surrounding buildings and pedestrianised areas. Being able to wander around outside the church safe in the knowledge that there is no traffic around is great news, especially for families with children.
The Abbey is very easy to find for anyone not familiar with the city and it is sure to be one of the first landmarks you spot. The Roman Baths are also close by and many visitors simply go from one to the other in quick succession. If you would like to take a look inside also, the Abbey is virtually always open to visitors.
