Although not many people may know it, Bath has a long tradition and history in the fashion world and the Fashion Museum aims to display that history in all its glory. There are various exhibitions taking place throughout the year, not only detailing Bath's history and fashion, but also showing off contemporary designs from local designers.
The Fashion Museum is housed within The Assembly Rooms, one of the finest Georgian buildings in the city. The Assembly Rooms are owned by the National Trust and there are also other attractions within the building as well as the Fashion Museum. This building and its interior give a real glimpse into the Georgian era, and so any fan of history should be sure to make a visit.
